Directly connected to the Balnea Esplanade hotel, the Balnea Palace hotel recently underwent a complete refurbishment and offers you tastefully furnished rooms and suites. The hotel complex is situated in the pleasant green and tranquil environment of the park, in the central part of Piestany's spa island. In the balneo rehabilitation centre a large number of curative treatments is offered. Within the hotel complex you can find the new water and sauna world and indoor and outdoor pools offer various water attractions including massage jets, jacuzzis and deckchairs. Take relaxing strolls through the on-site shopping passages, sit back in the cosy coffee bar or enjoy musical entertainment in the night bar. A wide range of local and international cuisine including dietary meals are offered in the hotel restaurants and on the inviting terrace. The spa’s Social Centre offers guests the possibility to become acquainted with the history as well as the present times of the Spa Island. Visit interesting places in the surroundings of Piešťany, travel to popular as well as less well-known parts of Slovakia. All offered trips are published monthly in the Social Centre bulletin available at the reception desk. In summer guests embark on boat rides on the Váh river and on Lake Sĺňava. An archaeologically interesting place is Čertova pec, 15 km from the spa, where during the Ice Age prehistoric people have settled. Time stands still and the walls whisper eternal legends about the cruel owners and the bloody Countess Báthory in the nearby castle ruins of Tematín, Beckov and Čachtice. Trnava, the "Slovak Rome”, as well as the town of Nitra, offer beautiful religious architecture from different periods. The town of Trenčín with its stunning castle built on a high rock is described in many legends.

Breakfasts are served as buffets and for lunch and dinner you can choose from regional specialities and international dishes including vegetarian and dietary meals from the table d`hote menu and from the rich salad buffet. Food combining is offered as well. The à-la-carte restaurant Esplanade also catering for dietary needs is open daily from 07:00 to 10:00 and from 11:30 to 22:00.
